Increasing of Jordan’s Tourism Revenues - 2021

 Jordan s tourism revenues witnessed an increase of about $273 million in November 2021 compared with the same period in 2020 to reach $331.5 million, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

 The amelioration was due to an increase in the number of tourists in November by about 253,000 to reach a total of 302,000 tourists.

 Data from the CBJ showed an increase in tourism income by 78.5 per cent by the end of November to reach $2.4 billion, as a result of the increase in the number of tourists by 78 per cent, reaching 2.109 million tourists by the end of November.

 Tourism revenues from Jordanian expatriates calculated for 42.4 per cent of the total income, followed by tourists from Arab countries contributing 28.2 per cent, and then tourists from the Gulf Cooperation Council countries whose contributions amounted to 14.6 per cent.
